# C-3 Investigation Commands

`/start_investigation` Permission Scope: `investigation_start`
This allows you to send someone UI by doing /start_investigation User: (@user or put id) Reason: (put the reason and make sure that it is atleast a stage 2 policy violation or it is not a investigation worthy issue)

`/end_investigation` Permission Scope: `investigation_end`
Ends an investigation, optionally taking disciplinary action (suspend, strike, gban, staff ban, terminate) and restoring roles.

**NOTE** You can use Investigation channels for Stage 1 incidents (talking to people) that way you have a log of it.
